How TIIM Room Participation Works
TIIM Rooms are intentionally designed to support meaningful discussion.
Because each room is limited to eight participants, requests are reviewed to help create productive conversations and balanced representation across the ecosystem.
The objective is not first-come, first-served registration.
The objective is to assemble conversations where participants can learn from perspectives they may not otherwise encounter.
The objective is to bring together participants whose perspectives, experiences, questions, and challenges can contribute to the discussion.

Request a Seat
Select a room and submit your participation request.

Review & Invitation
TIIM reviews requests to create balanced and meaningful discussions. Selected participants receive an invitation to participate.

Join the Discussion
Complete registration, confirm your seat, and join the room conversation.
Participation Status Definitions
The following status definitions help participants understand where their request stands in the room participation process.
Submitted
Your request has been received and entered into the review process.
Under Review
TIIM is reviewing requests to support balanced representation and productive discussion.
Invitation Extended
Your request has been selected for participation and an invitation has been issued.
Confirmed Participant
Your participation has been confirmed and your seat is reserved.
Waitlist
The room is currently at capacity. Your request remains active and may be considered if a seat become available.
Alternate Room Opportunity
Another room may better align with your interests, experience, or perspective.
Future Discussion Interest
While not selected for this discussion, your interest may be considered for future TIIM rooms and workshops.
Room Formation & Scheduling
TIIM Rooms are designed to foster meaningful dialogue through diverse perspectives and active participation.
Each room is designed for up to eight participants. However, rooms may proceed with fewer participants when the discussion question remains timely and the confirmed participants represent perspectives that support a productive conversation.
In some cases, TIIM may:
- Proceed with a smaller group discussion;
- Recommend an alternate room opportunity;
- Combine participation requests into a future discussion; or
- Reschedule a room to improve participant representation and discussion outcomes.
TIIM prioritizes meaningful discussions over attendance targets. The value of a room is determined by the perspectives represented and the quality of engagement rather than the number of seats filled.
